Ajay Devgn Launches Premium Whisky Brand ‘The GlenJourneys’

Bollywood icon Ajay Devgn has expanded his entrepreneurial horizons by co-founding The GlenJourneys, a premium single malt whisky brand in collaboration with Cartel Bros. This venture marks his entry into India's burgeoning luxury spirits market.


🥃 Brand Overview


The GlenJourneys debuted with the exclusive Pioneer Edition, a 21-year-old Highland single malt Scotch whisky, limited to just 600 bottles. Priced at ₹50,000 per bottle, it garnered attention for its rarity and craftsmanship. Building on this, the brand introduced the Cask Series, featuring expressions finished in rum, bourbon, and sherry casks. Each bottle is priced at ₹6,409 and is currently available in select Mumbai outlets, with plans for expansion into other metros in early 2026.

🌍 Market Strategy


Ajay Devgn aims to capture a 20% market share of India's single malt whisky segment within two years. The brand's initial focus is on Maharashtra, targeting sales of 10,000 cases in the current financial year. Expansion plans include entering markets in Haryana, Uttar Pradesh, Goa, and Chandigarh by November 2025.
